Cantaloupe (also known as muskmelon (India and the United States), mushmelon, rockmelon (Australia and New Zealand), sweet melon, or spanspek (South Africa)).

They are related to honeydews, watermelons, cucumbers, squash and pumpkins. They are usually round with firm, scaly, greyish green buff rind skin.

Some Rockmelons have grooves and sutures, that orbit the rockmelon. Rockmelons all have lovely, moist, sweet orange flesh. The flesh surrounds the seeds that are in the centre.

Rockmelons are a good source of Vitamin A which is an immune booster also potent antioxidant. Rockmelons are also a great source of vitamin C which supports collagen and builds the immune system.
